Passion

When you are passionate about something,

the energy and desire to pursue the passion wells up within you;

it happens spontaneously, without effort on your part.

In other words, it’s easier to follow this thing than it would be to ignore or avoid it.

Why Go Mountain Biking?

Mountain Biking has grown more than just a pastime. It is now a sport of its own. Take a closer look at some reasons why more and more people like me, are getting engrossed in Mountain Biking :-)

  • Mountain Biking is a means of staying fit.
  • Mountain Biking is about getting a great and fun aerobic workout that will get you to places.
  • Mountain Biking is about getting out of the urban jungle and into the wilderness and mountains, having fun, acquiring fresh air during the weekends.
  • Mountain Biking is being one with nature.
  • Mountain Biking is a few hours away from the reality of everyday life. It is freedom from an 8 to 5 work schedule, deadlines, bills, and pollution.
  • As for most weekend warriors, Mountain Biking is a ticket to relaxation, time to recharge their biological batteries.
  • Mountain Biking is the sudden rush you feel as you go downhill after a tiring ride up a steep mountain.
  • Mountain Biking is also about conquering the mountain and oneself! It's saying, "I conquered the mountain and now I'm going to enjoy the fast ride down."
  • Seeing the world in a bike gives you a more different perspective in life.
  • Mountain Biking opens your eyes to the beauty of nature and as nature lovers, we would like to keep it that way.

Epic Ride

Biking, both on-road and off-road, was a big passion of mine and lately I have been reading a lot about an Epic Ride from some forums and blogs. Almost 90km is the farthest ride I have ever had but I still feel that’s not enough and I still want more and I still dream of a real bike tour. It is my ambition to join a group for an Epic Ride.

I do however have problems with time constraints due to hectic scheds and I won’t get discouraged by this, but instead I will look at the bright side. I have like some other time to get in a good shape, buy a top bike, save some money and prepare my bike tour up to the smallest details, and maybe even find a group willing to join me.

At this moment the whole tour is just an idea in my mind, but it materializes more and more with each passing day and it’s just a matter of time ’till it will turn in a full fledged plan.

There are still a lot of things to settle, but things already started to move on, and I’m confident that in the end I’ll manage to make this dream of mine become true.
